Sunday: Arrival Cape Town
Arrival day in Cape Town for all participants (min. 4 - max. 8 people). You will be transferred (included in the price) to your central guesthouse and have a chance to relax after the long flight. Depending on the arrival time, you can explore the surrounding area on foot: the small historic botanical garden "Companies Garden", various museums, the Parliament, Green Market Square, the daily souvenir market and Long Street. After breakfast, you will go up Table Mountain (tickets for the cable car not included in the price). Here you can see the city from above. Today, the wind blows through your hair as you drive along one of the most spectacular stretches of the South African coast - the Cape Peninsula. Today you drive along Route 62, which is one of the most beautiful drives through South Africa. But at the same time, it is one of the least known and least busy roads. Travellers on their way through the interior choose an interesting, relaxing alternative to busy N2, which runs further south through the coastal strip. The highway winds through the fertile valleys of the Little Karoo, past rugged rock outcrops, whose peaks are covered with snow in winter. After the game drive in the morning, we first go to Oudtshoorn, the self-proclaimed ostrich capital. In Oudtshoorn, you can visit an ostrich farm (not included in the price).
