Itinerary

Sunday: Arrival Cape Town

Arrival day in Cape Town for all participants (min. 4 - max. 8 people). You will be transferred (included in the price) to your central guesthouse and have a chance to relax after the long flight. Depending on the arrival time, you can explore the surrounding area on foot: the small historic botanical garden "Companies Garden", various museums, the Parliament, Green Market Square, the daily souvenir market and Long Street. Monday: City Tour and Table Mountain

After breakfast, you will go up Table Mountain (tickets for the cable car not included in the price). Here you can see the city from above. Afterwards, you will visit the Bo Kaap, the Malay district and from there we start a walk to the city centre of Cape Town. Cape Town in 3-Star accommodation

Tuesday: Day trip Cape of Good Hope

Today, the wind blows through your hair as you drive along one of the most spectacular stretches of the South African coast - the Cape Peninsula. Cape Town in 3-Star accommodation Wednesday: Cape Town - Stellenbosch - Franschhoek Your tour takes you to the wine region today. The wine regions are popular with travellers all year round. They offer wine lovers perfect opportunities to taste fine vintages, visit beautiful Cape Dutch estates and enjoy the excellent cuisine in magnificent surroundings. Thursday: Franschhoek

Franschhoek has more French flair than ever before. Experience this as well as enjoying the tour along the Franschhoek Wine Route and do some wine tastings (2 wine tastings included in the price!). Franschhoek in 4-star accommodation

Friday: Franschhoek – Robertson

Robertson has a 150-year history and is the western gateway to Route 62. It is located in the shadow of the Langeberge and the river Breede forms the lifeline of the "Valley of Wines and Roses". The Robertson Wine Valley has wineries that vary in size from small manufacturers such as Kranskop and the renowned Springfield Wine Estate to global exporting companies (Graham Beck). Saturday: Robertson - Roam Game Reserve

Today you drive along Route 62, which is one of the most beautiful drives through South Africa. But at the same time, it is one of the least known and least busy roads. Travellers on their way through the interior choose an interesting, relaxing alternative to busy N2, which runs further south through the coastal strip. The highway winds through the fertile valleys of the Little Karoo, past rugged rock outcrops, whose peaks are covered with snow in winter. Roam Game Reserve in comfortable accommodation

Sunday: Roam - Oudtshoorn – Plettenberg Bay

After the game drive in the morning, we first go to Oudtshoorn, the self-proclaimed ostrich capital. In Oudtshoorn, you can visit an ostrich farm (not included in the price). A visit to the Cango Caves is also recommended. Afterwards, we continue to Plettenberg Bay. Plettenberg Bay in 4-star accommodation

Monday: Plettenberg Bay and surrounds

Today we go on a hike. Robberg Nature Reserve and then to visit some of the local animal sanctuaries. Plettenberg Bay in 4-star accommodation

Tuesday: Plettenberg Bay - Addo

Today we head towards Addo National Park. Addo Elephant National Park offers a rare opportunity to safari and watch big game in a malaria-free area. In the afternoon you have a game drive in the Addo Elephant Park. Addo in 4-star accommodation

Wednesday: Safari at The Schotia Game Reserve

The morning is free to enjoy the lodge. In the afternoon, you will go on the Schotia Tooth and Claw Experience (3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) Addo National Park in 4-star accommodation

Thursday: Tsitsikamma - Wilderness

We use a few hours to explore the Tsitsikamma National Park. We would like to recommend this park to you in particular: it is one of the most beautiful parks in Africa! Then continue to the small seaside town of Wilderness. Dinner: Serendipity restaurant Wilderness in 4-star accommodation

Friday: Cape Agulhas - the southernmost point of Africa

Day trip to the southernmost point of Africa, where the Atlantic and the Pacific meet. Cape Agulhas is a rough windswept cape. Then on to your final night in the quaint town of Swellendam. Swellendam in 4-star accommodation

Saturday: Departure day

Today we go back to Cape Town. You will be taken to the airport for your flight around noon which will take you back home. In your luggage: a colourful bouquet of lasting memories of valuable encounters with locals and of beautiful experiences. Registration deadline: 30.
