An exploration of The Kalahari Desert of the stark and dramatic landscapes and the iconic Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, with vast differences between its dry and wet seasons is not-to-be-missed. The Nxai Pan National Park is set on the Makgadikgadi basin and includes Nxai Pan, an ancient lakebed that was once part of Lake Makgadikgadi.
Also known, in the rainy season, for its amazing seasonal Zebra Migration, where huge herds, closely followed by many predators, can be seen on the open grasslands.
During the dry season, you will be treated to sightings of wildebeest, springbok, impala, gemsbok, hartebeest, giraffe, lion, cheetah, wild dog, brown hyena and bat-eared fox.

The Okavango delta, known for its Mokoro rides, motorboat cruises, game walks and drives, is a myriad of lakes and swamps dotted with fertile islands and filled with wildlife such as hippos and crocodiles and has a large and varied bird population. These floodplains are also shared by Lion, cheetah, leopard, African wild dog, large herds of elephant and buffalo. The Okavango Delta is approximately 200km long and is the largest inland delta in the world. Winding placidly down from Angola and branching out into smaller and smaller channels creeping between the mainland and the islands.
